DOT exams for CDL drivers
The purpose of subjecting CDL drivers to regular DOT exams is to detect the presence of physical, mental, or emotional defects that would affect the applicant's ability to operate a commercial vehicle safely. Commercial Drivers must have a DOT exam every two years or, in the case of certain medical conditions (such as high blood pressure), once a year.

• Glasses, contacts, or hearing aids where applicable
